Decree no. 2025-840 of August 22, 2025, which came into force on August 25, 2025, on the protection of information relating to the domicile of certain natural persons entered in the Trade and Companies Register (“RCS”), provides for the deletion from the RCS of the personal addresses of the natural persons referred to in article R.123-54 of the French Commercial Code – notably the directors and partners with unlimited liability of legal entities entered in the RCS – in the event of a request from the latter via the one-stop shop (new article R.123-53-1 of the French Commercial Code).
These requests must be processed within five clear working days of receipt by the Registrar.
Information concerning domicile will remain available to the authorities and persons referred to in article R.123-54-2 of the French Commercial Code, as well as to the company’s legal representatives, its associates and individual creditors for claims arising from the exercise of their corporate mandate.
